How to Check BISP Result Online (Step-by-Step)
The 8171 Web Portal is the most reliable way to check your current payment status and PMT (Poverty) score.
- Visit the Portal: Go to the official BISP website: 8171.bisp.gov.pk.
- Enter CNIC: Type your 13-digit Computerized National Identity Card number (without any dashes).
- Captcha Verification: Enter the 4-digit verification code displayed in the image on the screen.
- Check Result: Click the green “Check Eligibility” button.
- Result Display: The screen will tell you if you are eligible, if your payment has been sent, or if you need to perform a new dynamic survey.
BISP SMS Service (Offline Method)
If you do not have internet access, follow these steps:
- Open your mobile SMS app.
- Type your CNIC Number and send it to 8171.
- You will receive a reply within minutes.

New Updates for 2026 Payments
1. Increased Quarterly Stipend
As announced by Chairperson Rubina Khalid, the quarterly payment has been increased to Rs. 13,500. However, for the Ramzan 2026 quarter, many beneficiaries are receiving an additional bonus, bringing the total to Rs. 14,500 to help with the rising cost of groceries.
2. BISP Digital Wallet
In 2026, BISP has launched the Digital Wallet system. This allows you to receive money directly into a mobile wallet (like JazzCash or Easypaisa), reducing the need to visit crowded campsites or bank branches.
3. Dynamic Survey Requirement
If your 8171 result says “Record Not Found,” you must visit a BISP Tehsil Office for a Dynamic Survey.
- Documents needed: Original CNIC and your children’s B-Form.
- Survey Fee: The survey is 100% Free.
Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Gender: Primarily women-led households.
- PMT Score: Your Poverty Means Test (PMT) score must be below 32.
- Income: Monthly family income should be less than Rs. 50,000.
- Ineligibility: Active tax filers, car owners (excluding tractors/motorcycles), and high-grade government employees are automatically disqualified by the system.
