The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has officially finalized the March 2026 Payment Schedule. The quarterly installment for the Benazir Kafaalat program has been increased to Rs. 13,500, with many families receiving a total of Rs. 14,500 due to the added Ramzan Bonus.
To ensure a smooth payout and avoid overcrowding at banks, BISP has implemented a District-Wise Distribution Plan.

District-Wise Distribution Plan
The payments are being released in three distinct phases across Punjab and other provinces to manage the flow of beneficiaries.
Phase 1: Starting February 24
- Target Districts: Major urban centers and high-density districts including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Karachi.
- Focus: Families who have completed their NSER Dynamic Survey update in early 2026.
Phase 2: Starting March 2
- Target Districts: Central and Southern Punjab districts like Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, Jhang, and Okara.
- Focus: Regular beneficiaries and those with pending arrears from the previous 2025 quarter.
Phase 3: Starting March 10
- Target Districts: Remote and rural districts, including Rajanpur, Bhakkar, Khushab, and tribal areas of KP and Balochistan.
- Focus: Completion of all remaining payments before the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
How to Check Your Specific Payment Date
- Online Portal (Real-Time): Visit 8171.bisp.gov.pk. Enter your CNIC and the security code. If your status shows “Payment Released,” you can visit the center immediately.
- SMS Tracking: Send your 13-digit CNIC to 8171. The system will reply with your eligibility status and whether your funds have been credited to your district’s designated bank.
- Tehsil Office: For specific dates regarding your village or union council, visit the BISP Tehsil Office. They display the village-wise schedule on their notice boards.
Important Collection Points in 2026
In 2026, BISP has expanded its banking partners to reduce wait times:
- Punjab, Sindh, & Balochistan: Payments are mainly through HBL Konnect and designated BISP campsites.
- KPK, AJK, & Gilgit-Baltistan: Payments are primarily through Bank Alfalah and biometric-enabled retail shops.
- ATM Access: Beneficiaries with active BISP Debit Cards can withdraw their Rs. 13,500 from any HBL or Bank Alfalah ATM nationwide.
⚠️ Security Alert for March 2026
- Full Payment: Ensure you receive the full Rs. 14,500 (Installment + Ramzan Bonus). Do not pay any “commission” to agents.
- Official SMS: You will only receive payment confirmation from the header 8171.
- Biometrics: If your thumbprint fails, visit the NADRA office for a “Biometric Verification” update and then return to the BISP center.
