The Punjab Government has streamlined its support system under the Ramzan Nigehban Program. This year, the relief is primarily delivered through the Nigehban Card (worth Rs. 10,000) and subsidized food hampers.

- Prompt Financial Assistance: 1000 (Special “Maryam Ko Batain” helpline for immediate aid)
- Punjab Complaint Center: 1221 (For reporting delays or misconduct by officials)
Step-by-Step Registration Guide
The 2026 registration process is divided into a quick SMS check and a detailed online portal for those not yet in the system.
Method 1: SMS Registration (Fastest)
- Open your mobile messaging app.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC number (no spaces or dashes).
- Send it to 8070.
- Results: You will receive a message confirming your eligibility or a prompt to register via the PSER portal if your data is missing.
Method 2: Online Registration (PSER Portal)
If you are not registered in the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER), follow these steps:
- Visit the official portal: pser.punjab.gov.pk.
- Click on “Register New Family.”
- Provide your Name, CNIC, and Mobile Number to create an account.
- Fill out the household survey form (income, assets, and family members).
- Submit the form; your data will be verified by NADRA for final approval.
Eligibility Criteria for 2026

How to Receive the Relief
- Nigehban Card: For approved families, the Nigehban Card is being delivered directly to your doorstep by government representatives.
- Activation: Once you receive the card, you can activate it at 20,000+ branchless banking agents (HBL Konnect, UBL Omni, or AlfaPay) using biometric verification.
- Rashan Hampers: In some districts, physical ration bags (10kg Flour, 2kg Sugar, 2kg Ghee, 2kg Rice) are still provided alongside or instead of the cash card.
Security Warning: There is no registration fee for this program. Official messages will only come from 8070 or 1000. Never share your bank OTP or card PIN with anyone over the phone.
