To help low-income families cope with inflation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced the Rs. 13,000 Ramzan Relief Package 2026. This federal initiative aims to support approximately 12.1 million families across Pakistan through direct cash transfers.
Unlike previous years that focused on utility store discounts, the 2026 program provides one-time cash assistance of Rs. 13,000 to ensure families can purchase essentials with dignity.

How to Check Your Rs. 13000 Status (2026 Guide)
The 2026 system is fully digital. You can verify your eligibility using these three official methods:
1. Check via 9999 SMS (Fastest)
The federal government has launched the 9999 shortcode specifically for this cash package.
- Open your mobile SMS app.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC number (no spaces or dashes).
- Send it to 9999.
- You will receive a reply indicating if you are “Eligible,” “Under Review,” or “Not Found.”
2. Online Check via PMRRP Portal
If you have internet access, use the dedicated 2026 portal:
- Visit pmrrp.nitb.gov.pk.
- Enter your CNIC number in the verification box.
- The portal will display your current status and, if approved, the designated bank or cash center for your collection.
3. BISP 8171 Integration
Since the 13,000 package is integrated with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), families already receiving Kafalat payments can also check their status by sending their CNIC to 8171. If you are a BISP beneficiary, this Ramzan amount is often added as a top-up to your regular installment.

Eligibility Criteria for 2026
The 2026 criteria have been updated to include more families:
- Income Limit: Monthly household income should be below Rs. 60,000.
- PMT Score: Priority is given to those with a Poverty Means Test (PMT) score below 32-35.
- Government Employees: Generally, regular government employees are ineligible.
- Tax Status: Active high-level tax filers and owners of luxury vehicles are excluded.
How to Collect the Cash
Once you receive an “Eligible” SMS, follow these steps to get your money:
- Wait for the Payment SMS: Do not go to the bank until you receive a final message confirming that your funds have been credited.
- Visit Partner Banks: Payments are usually distributed through HBL (in Punjab/Sindh/Balochistan) and Bank Alfalah (in KPK/GB/AJK).
- Biometric Verification: You must bring your Original CNIC. Your thumbprint will be scanned at the ATM or retailer shop to release the cash.
Important Note for Punjab Residents
If you live in Punjab, you may be eligible for both the PM’s 13,000 package and the CM’s Nigehban Card (Rs. 10,000). Check your provincial status by sending your CNIC to 8070.
